Cube of watermelon in brown-sugar syrup with lime and mint


1 Dolce Passione watermelon
200 g brown sugar
150 ml rum
1 lime
Fresh mint to taste



Clean the watermelon and cut 4 5 x 5 cm cubes and place them in the refrigerator. Make the syrup by caramelizing the sugar. Blend the caramel with the rum and add 1 cup of water, letting about half evaporate. Add the juice and the grated peel of the lime then leave to cool. Finish by pouring the syrup over the cold watermelon cubes and garnish with fresh mint.
